WAKOL PU 280 is a one-component waterproof primer designed for priming both porous and non-porous subfloors, as well as reinforcing soft subfloor surfaces. This premium moisture barrier effectively protects "green" concrete slabs, providing two levels of moisture protection. A single coat blocks moisture up to 12 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. per 24 hours or up to 90% relative humidity (ASTM F 2170-02). Applying two coats increases protection to 18 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. per 24 hours or up to 98% relative humidity. No moisture test is required if the concrete is surface dry, at least 28 days old, with a surface temperature of ≥60°F and an intact structural waterproofing membrane below the slab. Suitable for radiant heated floors, it can block moisture up to 6 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. per 24 hours or 85% relative humidity prior to wood flooring installation.
